Our Spotlight Moments create joyful, meaningful experiences for children and families facing cancer. During Kirsten’s medical journey, we were incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by caring and generous members of our community who provided her with unforgettable spotlight moments. From therapy riding sessions and beautiful family photo shoots, to makeup artist lessons on drawing in eyebrows after losing them to chemotherapy, to a front-door visit from friendly horses when she wasn’t strong enough to travel to the farm — each moment reminded her that she was seen, loved, and supported.

These experiences offered Kirsten — and our entire family — precious opportunities to step away from appointments, procedures, and the weight of her diagnosis. Even for a few hours, we could focus on laughter, connection, and simply being together.

Today, through Love Kirsten, we are honored to help create similar spotlight moments for other families — small breaks from treatment that become lasting, cherished memories.
